The Great Cape Escape

After staying in a few different rental homes in Cape Coral, this one takes the cake! They provided so many "extras" like TP, Paper towels, Dish & Laundry Detergent etc. We loved using the Kayaks, basketball sets, pool toys and floaties! This was such a nice bonus! The home itself was stunning and very clean and updated! Jackie was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We hope to try out their other rental next year!

My wife and I, along with our son and daughter, their spouses and our 4 granddaughters spent the last week of February at The Great Escape in Cape Coral. It was our second time renting there, the first one being March 2025. We came back a second time because the house suited us perfectly, and we had such a great experience last year. This year was no exception. The stay was awesome thanks in large part to Jackie the owner and her attention to making sure we had the best possible experience. The house itself is beautiful, well maintained and fully equipped with everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the outdoor lanai was great for eating lunch, dinner or just relaxing. In addition to the house itself, the pool/hot tub was amazing and with the gradual steps to the pool, it was very safe for our 2 year old granddaughter to hang out and enjoy the water. There were many games set up in the garage such as ping pong, pop-a-shot, bags and a video game in addition to a few bikes and a lot of items to use for a trip to the beach. This is our 7th spring vacation with the family, and the last 2 years have been the best and most positive experiences we have had. I don't take these reviews lightly as I know what a big decision it is to decide on a vacation home rental, but if your looking for a great home with a great and responsive host then this will be a great choice.

The Great Cape Escape name says it all! This Cape Coral home was the nicest place we have ever stayed at. We go to Cape Coral each winter and nothing has compared to this home. Jackie the owner was in contact with us as we arrived to make sure everything was good and we kept in contact with her during our 5 week stay. The house had everything we needed and everything was in great condition. The home was in the nw corridor of Cape Coral where we hadn't stayed before. It was a quieter area than most of Cape Coral which was perfect for us. There are some great restaurants nearby and the canal access is in a good location to get out by Matlacha and Pine Island. The house is close to Punta Gorda which has some great outdoor seaside restaurants. The pool, hot tub and lanai are beautiful and we spent as much time outside as we could. Our kids came down and spent a week with us. We usually do some fishing but this year my daughter did some iguana, wild hog and alligator hunting which was great fun. We also took the kayaks out in the canals and fished off the dock. They have a brand new dock, boat and jet ski lifts, 4 new kayaks and lots of games in the house and garage to keep everyone busy. Looking forward to going back and plan to stay here again!

This house had everything we needed for our stay and then some! The beds were comfortable, the pool was pristine, the sunsets... we just loved it there! We explored the canals and mangroves on kayaks and had firece basketball competitions in the garage. Very memorable and enjoyable stay, couldn't have asked for a better place and host! We would definitely come back and stay again.
